Two great houses in Placencia, Belize.

What to do in Placencia? Placencia offers a wide diversity of activities to explore and savor, from active and energetic to relaxing and laid back.

Take time to explore the village of Placencia, with its colorful shops, small restaurants, world’s longest sidewalk, and popular beach bars. Be sure to sample Tutti Frutti ice cream at The Point, for world-class Italian gelato with a Belizean flavor twist.

Day tours are available with different tour companies in the village to visit the incredible Belize Barrier Reef. From April to June, whale sharks congregate at the Gladden Spit Marine Reserve, attracting divers from all over the world to see these spectacular marine creatures, particularly during the full moon.

Spin-casting or fly-fishing for such species as permit, tarpon and bonefish is among the best in the world (you can also fish right from the dock at Blue Garden House or take a kayak out to fish for snappers and other species).
